About Us

Who we are:

The Salesians of Don Bosco initiated missionary activities in Sudan in 1980, starting with a primary School in the diocese of Tombura – Yambio at Maridi. The mission expanded to Juba and Tonj, and later to Wau and Khartoum in 1986.
Responding to the educational needs, the Salesians established a presence in ElObeid for a technical school, providing special facilities for war victims in Darfur. In2010, Salesians returned to Maridi, extending their services to include a parish, dispensary, and secondary school in the Manguo region. In 2018, the Salesians established a center in Kuajok for the Young at Risk(YAR), focusing on street children in the Wau and Kuajok region.
